Ananya Mullick has been with RBL Bank for over 11 years. Let’s know more about her journey.
Q: From your first day to today - what's the one value at RBL Bank that has remained constant and continues to inspire you?
A: The one thing that has made my journey inspiring is the work-life balance at RBL Bank. In a world that celebrates equality, many women are still entrusted with the responsibility of juggling raising children, home chores and work. I have been able to be actively present in the lives of my children, take care of my senior citizen parent and yet lead a team handling specialized functions. All of this has been possible because of the great leaders I have been incredibly fortunate to work with, who lead by example, value people, and bring out the best in everyone around them.
Q: What's your proudest achievement at the Bank, and how did the organization enable it?
A: In the last 11 years, I have held diverse and significant roles. From representing the Bank to the RBI as a Nodal officer to leading a team servicing wholesale customers and Trade & Forex transactions, I am proud to have gaineda dynamic experience in all these years. RBL Bank has developed an environment that values continuous learning and resilience.. We celebrate both successes and failures as opportunities for growth.
Q: Which aspects of the Bank’s culture have been most empowering in your professional journey?
A: The aspect that stands out as the most empowering is freedom of expression. In today’s dynamic business landscape, true innovation and creativity thrive when individuals feel safe to express their ideas, perspectives, and insights. RBL Bank has always encouraged freedom of thought and has built a culture where new ideas flourish, diverse opinions shape better solutions, and employees feel valued and heard.
Q: How has the Bank supported your growth both as a professional and as an individual?
A: Over the years, RBL Bank has helped me grow personally by developing my emotional intelligence, resilience, and grit, which are essential for navigating life’s challenges. Professionally, I have been grateful to be in an organization full of opportunities. It has been a path filled with growth, challenges, learning from great, inspiring leaders and invaluable mentors who have been guiding lights helping me unlock my full potential, achieve success, and make a lasting impact.
Q: Looking back at your journey, what would you tell other women about building a career at RBL Bank?
A: At RBL Bank, we are in an ecosystem packed with accomplished women.
