Insurance Benefits

Card Protection Cover of INR 2,00,000, which includes the following:

• Lost Card Liability: Protects against unauthorized transactions in case of loss or theft of your card.
• Counterfeit Card Liability: Protects against fraudulent transactions made by a third person by fraudulently printing, embossing, or encoding the card to make it appear as a genuine card and using it for making transactions.
• Account Takeover Cover: Protects in case of an event wherein your personal details have been accessed by a third person and is subsequently misused to get a new physical card or loan from the bank using your name.
• Personal Accident Cover of INR 25,00,000: Death due to Air Accident - Provides cover in case of any unfortunate event that leads to loss of life in an Air Accident.
• Baggage Insurance Cover of INR 50,000: Reimbursement for loss of personal belongings / baggage etc. while on a personal trip.
• International Travel Cover of INR 25,000 each: Provides cover for a variety of travel related incidents in the event of international travel:
  • Delay of checked-in baggage
  • Loss of Passport
• Accidental Death Cover of INR 10,00,000: Accidents are unforeseen and inevitable. An accidental death cover ensures financial stability for you and your family in the event of any unforeseen accident. The cover is a one-time payable to the cardholder. This cover contains “accidents due to natural calamities and arising out of terrorism / terrorist acts”.
• ATM Assault and Robbery Cover of INR 2,00,000: Provides for reimbursement of money withdrawn from any ATM around the world using the Debit Card against a robbery event that occurs within a specified time period of withdrawal of the money.
• Purchase Protection Cover of INR 50,000: Get coverage for assets purchased using your RBL Bank Debit Card through the purchase protection plan. The coverage will be valid for the first 60 days of purchase and would be for residential premises only. The policy does not cover fire loss or damage to articles combustible in nature, motor vehicles / pedal cycle deeds, bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, share certificates, business books, manuscripts, document of any kind, unset precious stones, jewellery and valuables.

• At stores accepting Contactless payment, place your Insignia Debit Card within a few inches of the POS/payment machine.
• Once you get a ‘beep’ and a green light your payment is done!
• Please note that in India, payment through contactless mode is allowed for a maximum of INR 5,000 for a single transaction.
