Dhanashree Mahajan has been with RBL Bank for over 11 years. Let’s know more about her journey.
Q: From your first day to today, what is the one value at RBL Bank that has remained constant & continues to inspire you?
A: The important values of RBL Bank which continue to inspire me and have remained constant are teamwork and celebrating success. This has been the mantra for building motivation and breed more success.
Q: What is your proudest achievement at the Bank and how did the organization enable it?
A: I was the first female Cluster Head in the Bank and was encouraged to move from Pune to Mumbai to take on this role. Transitioning into a much larger responsibility was certainly an opportunity but had it’s own set of challenges, but the trust my seniors placed in me to take on this challenge, gave me the confidence. Soon enough, my cluster became one of the best performing in the Bank. This achievement was possible only because I was actively encouraged and supported throughout the transition.
Q: Which aspects of the Bank’s culture have been most empowering in your professional journey?
A: The comforting factor is that the seniors are approachable and supportive, which is an enabler. There is no dearth of challenging assignments, and you have access to them, this helps you to prove your mettle.
Q: Looking back to your journey, what would you tell other women about building a career at RBL Bank?
A: I would encourage other women to take risks, embrace challenging assignments with confidence. This way you can use your potential for professional growth and success.
Q: How has the Bank supported your growth both professionally and as an individual?
A: Working with RBL Bank has taught me the importance of good leadership, as well as patience and perseverance to navigate from the problem stage to solution stage. This has helped me both personally and professionally.
